Isokinetic evaluation offers the possibility of recognizing the existence of dysfunctions and imbalances between both competitive muscle groups and between bilaterally muscle groups.

For this purpose and for the best possible results, our Center uses BIODEX technology. This unit is probably the most reliable method of evaluating and restoring the patient’s muscular function.

The isokinetic evaluation gives the following information:

  • Muscle imbalances
  • Peak power of the tested muscle groups
  • Contraction speed
  • Neuromuscular coordination
  • Comparative assessment
  • Muscle strength training
  • Muscle coordination
  • Muscle strength endurance
  • Explosive power
  • Active joint mobilization
  • Check of rehabilitation progress
  • Injury prevention
  • Research and findings (for example, finding a disability after an accident)

The isokinetic evaluation can be used for:

  • Post-operative rehabilitation
  • Preoperative strengthening
  • Injury rehabilitation
